Qualified customer service representative to join our dynamic B2B food ingredient business. This position will act as the focal point between the company and its customers, giving world-class customer service for
processing orders and supporting routine business activities. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of customer service experience in the consumer goods industry. Exceptional proficiency and fluent in English.
Responsibilities
- Process customer orders and order acknowledgements
- Support supply chain management that includes scheduling logistics and transportation
- File transportation paperwork and claims on damaged goods / receiving notes to warehouses
- Facilitate and send purchase orders to vendors on out-sourced products
- Ability to forecast and manage inventory
- Maintain a high level of data integrity and focused attention to detail
- Communicate with customers daily via telephone and email
- Mitigate customer complaints with professionalism
- Provide hands-on support to the internal team to meet business objectives
- Build sustainable relationships and engage with customers by going the extra mile
- Route inquiries into the appropriate resources
- Follow up customer calls when necessary
- Performs other job duties as required by manager/supervisor or board of directors
Qualifications and Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a BS/BA degree or equivalent with 3 years of customer service
experience - Experience in the B2B food ingredients a plus
- Must possess excellent communication and inter-personal skills with the flexibility to do whatever it takes to establish oneself as the company relationship ambassador with our customers.
- Minimum 1+ years working knowledge of data entry
- Must be skilled in Microsoft Windows: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Candidate must be a well-organized, multi-tasking, self-starting individual
- Strong organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrates exceptional written and oral communications
